DEAR FRIENDS IN PHOTOGRAPHY!

Under the sponsorship of Osijek City Council and according to the regulations of CPU and FIAP, Photoclub
OSIJEK has opened a COMPETITION for the ;

1st Croatian International Digital Photo Salon - OSIJEK 2007.


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY :

The Salon is open to amateur and professional entrants from all over the world.

SECTIONS :

There will be two Sections:
A. OPEN (Free)
B. CREATIVE (Altered Reality)
Per section a maximum of 4 images may be submitted !

HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION?

1. Read the entry rules
2. Submit the entryform at http://www.fotoklubosijek.hr
3. Send your images to fotosalon.osijek2007@gmail.com

IMAGE SIZE :

The Images must be in JPG format with a resolution of 300 dpi and 2400 pixels for the larger side.
All images have to be sent to e-mail address fotosalon.osijek2007@gmail.com
The image file size has to be maximum up to 6 megabytes.

HOW TO NAME YOUR JPG IMAGE FILES ;

HR-Smith-J-0062-A1.jpg
- HR = ISO 3166 country code for Croatia (Hrvatska)
- John Smith = author’s name and surname
- Smith = the first five (5) letters of author’s surname
- J = the first character (Initial) of your given name (John)
- 0062 = the last four (4) digits of your phone number (++ 385 31 570 062)
- A1 –A4.jpg = the Section letter A and image number (1-4) of the entry.
- B1 – B4.jpg = the Section letter B and image number (1-4) of the entry.

ENTRY FEE ;

Entry fees are: 10 € or 13 US $ for one section; 15 € or 20 US $ for two sections.
Entries received without the fee will not be judged nor will be considered for the
competition. The fee must be received by the closing date !

1 Gold FIAP medal for each section (2)
1 Silver FIAP medal for each section (2)
1 Bronze FIAP medal for each section (2)
3 FIAP ribbons for each section (6)
1 Gold FKO plaquetes for each section (2)
1 Silver FKO plaquetes for each section (2)
1 Bronze FKO plaquetes for each section (2)
5 FKO Honorable Mentions for each section (10)
1 FKO Honorable Mentions for best fotoclub in the Salon
Each author can receive only one prize for each section !
A list of acceptances and awards will be announced on the Internet at the Club web-site www.fotoklubosijek.hr !

CD-ROM CATALOG :

The CD-ROM Catalog, containing acceptancees and images, will be sent to each entrant.

Each of the five judges will assign 1 to 10 points to each image, therefore the sum of points assigned by all five
judges will determine which images will be accepted. Each image will have a minimum of 5 or maximum of 50
points.
The decision of the jury is final !

SALON CALENDAR:

Closing date (for application and fee): 2nd September 2007
Judging : 8th September 2007
Announcement of Results on www.fotoklubosijek.hr 20th September 2007
Exhibition Date : 06th to 20th Oktober 2007
Sending of CD catalogs and prizes to participants: 15th November 2007

GENERAL REGULATIONS :

- The organizer reserves the right to reproduce any image for publication, in a CD-ROM catalogue, on the
Internet site and/or presented in media related to the Salon without payment of any fee to the
photographer.
- Every single author will be held responsible for everything his/her work represents.

- By submission of the entries the acceptance of all conditions of entry applies.
